Engineering Intern / Co-op
Job Location: Meadville, PA or Charlotte, NC

Job Description:
You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team assisting clients with energy savings, decarbonization, and renewable energy projects in the commercial, industrial, and municipal markets. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of physics, engineering, and economics concepts, and have the ability to apply these in improving the built environment.
Job Duties:
- Assist staff engineers in support of client objectives in the following areas. Specific tasks will include reviewing data provided by clients, modeling using Excel, and writing reports.
- Energy Auditing
- Financial Analysis
- Carbon Accounting
- Renewable Energy Systems
- Grant Writing
- Climate Action Planning
- As part of a team, visit client facilities and collect data on buildings, energy usage, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in-person at the Meadville, PA office or Charlotte, NC office.
- Completed sophomore or junior year in ABET accredited engineering curriculum.
- Major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Excel.
- Strong writing skills.
- If your school has a co-op program, we can coordinate with your department to enable you to gain credit.
- Part time or full time positions are available depending on your course load.
