Engineering Intern / Co-op

Job Location: Meadville, PA or Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team assisting clients with energy savings, decarbonization, and renewable energy projects in the commercial, industrial, and municipal markets. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of physics, engineering, and economics concepts, and have the ability to apply these in improving the built environment.

Job Duties:

• Assist staff engineers in support of client objectives in the following areas. Specific tasks will include reviewing data provided by clients, modeling using Excel, and writing reports.
  • Energy Auditing
  • Financial Analysis
  • Carbon Accounting
  • Renewable Energy Systems
  • Grant Writing
  • Climate Action Planning
• As part of a team, visit client facilities and collect data on buildings, energy usage, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in-person at the Meadville, PA office or Charlotte, NC office.
• Completed sophomore or junior year in ABET accredited engineering curriculum.
• Major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Excel.
• Strong writing skills.
• If your school has a co-op program, we can coordinate with your department to enable you to gain credit.
• Part time or full time positions are available depending on your course load.
